We're Getting Married!

Jordan and Tommy met in late 2009 and started dating about a year later. They had chemistry (cliche, we know), biology and gym class together at Dundee-Crown High School, flirting their way past the friend-zone freshman and sophomore year toward a culminating first date at Jordan’s house. That evening started as “two friends hanging out, watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” and ended with Tommy and Jordan holding hands. Tommy said something like: “What if I told you I liked you…” and Jordan responded, “That’d be good, because I like you too.” If this exchange sounds like two awkward teens barely past the brink of puberty, that’s because it was. And we wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve grown into early adulthood side by side, gaining all sorts of new opportunities, challenges and dumb jokes to crack up about along the way. That’s why we’re so excited for the next step – making our little family official – and we can’t wait to share Day One with all of you!
