Downtown Grand Haven
Jordan's hometown! Take a stroll down the pier or soak up the sun on the beautiful beach. Treat yourself to something sweet at Fortino's, then browse the local shops. Enjoy a craft brew at Odd Side Ales or Grand Armory Brewing, and grab a bite at Kirby (where I spent a couple of years working during grad school) or The Toasted Pickle.
Bridge Street, Grand Rapids
One of our favorite areas to go in GR! There are so many great bars and restaurants. Try Butcher's Union, Gin Gin's, New Holland Brewing, Condado Tacos, Rapid River Stillhouse, or O'Toole's.
Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Gorgeous 158-acre botanical garden, art museum, and outdoor sculpture park.
Fremont Lake Park
This is a scenic 17‑acre park on Fremont Lake offers a beach, campground, picnic pavilions, sand volleyball, horseshoe and shuffleboard courts, playground, and boat launch.
Town and Country Path
A 5.5 mile paved trail weaving through wooded ravines, farm fields, ponds, and parks, conveniently connecting town with lakeside areas. Perfect for walking, biking, or a peaceful nature escape

The Farmers' Market is open on Saturdays from 8:00am-1:00pm located in the Market Place Pavilion in downtown Fremont
