While the wedding is in Hillsboro, you're just a short drive (or max ride) to the Downtown area. We've shared a few locations that you might find interesting. Driving through downtown can be challenging with all the ONE WAY streets, be prepared. Most businesses will close around 10pm and the most popular breakfast/coffee shops you google may have a line in the morning, again be prepared.

Saturday Market

The downtown area has changed a lot, this is a great place to look at local art, goods, and crafts. This is along the waterfront, good for taking a stroll to see the sprawl of bridges.

Powell's Books on Hawthorne

Great bookstore. This is the smaller store but less crowded. The original store is on Burnside

Powell's City of Books

The largest new and used bookstore in the world. Featuring multiple floors, art, and rare books. This is a great location or travel between.

Portland Japanese Garden
