Back in 2010, Jordan was in her senior year journalism class, which included writing articles for the Niles High School student newspaper. Assigned an article comparing public school to private school, Jordan and her project partner (now maid of honor), Sarah convinced the teacher that in order to fully immerse themselves in the project, they needed to spend a full day at a local private school meeting students. After a full day of classes at South Bend St. Joe, they were introduced to a room of St. Joe students to interview. Each student represented a different sector of athletics, academics, theater, music, etc., and at the end of the table sat Sean Hart. Blue-eyed and full of high school male confidence, he exchanged numbers with Jordan and asked her to come watch him play basketball at his next game. As charming as he was, she respectfully declined- Had to keep him on his toes. Ego slightly bruised, they managed to stay in contact through the years, betting on MSU vs IU games, visiting each other while home for the holidays, or meeting up in Chicago in the Summer. There was always something more between the two of them, life just always seemed to have them in different stages and locations until the summer of 2018, when Jordan accepted a job in Chicago- where Sean was already living. A couple of months after moving to the city, they caught up on a rooftop over wine and it was evident the spark was still there. Timing had finally aligned and as they say, the rest is history.
