Question

When do I have to have my room booked by?

Answer

December 23rd, 2025 is when the second deposit is due. The first deposit is also not due until December 23rd, however $150 is all that's needed to secure your room in the block to make sure you get the room type you want.

What if I don’t book by December 23rd?

Answer

Booking outside of the Dec 23rd window will remove you from the room block rates but you may book on your own directly through the website. Pricing will vary depending on availability

Question

How will I get to resort from the airport?

Answer

My wedding planning company, Paradise Wedding, coordinates all the transportation for you! You will only possibly be sharing a ride with another member of the wedding party to and from the resort.

What if I need to adjust the room block date options?

Paradise Weddings has a wedding planning team that can answer all your room block questions and needs!

What if I want a room that is shown on the resort website that is not found on the room block website?

Answer

Room types were reserved based on assumption for our guests. First, reach out to guests@paradiseweddings.com and they will contact the resort for you. They will check to see if the room is available and if so, what rate they can get for you.

Is there a dress code for the resort?

Answer

The resort has a strict dress code for men at the restaurants at night. Long pants only (includes elegant jeans, not torn nor ragged ), shirt with collar and long or short sleeves (it can be a polo shirt, a classic shirt, as long as it has a collar and sleeves), elegant shoes.

Can I stay at a different resort?

Answer

Yes you can get a day pass at the Valentin resort to attend the wedding

What if my flight is delayed? How will I get a ride?

Answer

No worries! The wedding planners will be in contact with you and can adjust the pickup time for you.

Is tipping required or normal at the resort?

Answer

Tipping is very common at the resorts and recommended to bring a couple hundred dollars in $5s and $10s to use as necessary.

Can I leave the resort to do an excursion?

Answer

Yes! There are many beautiful sites and fun activities that you can do on and off the resort. You are welcome to come and go as you please.

What kind of alcoholic drinks is included in my package?

Answer

There is a wide variety of mid to top shelf liquor and nice wine that is included at all the bars at the resort! There is select bourbon types as well, you just might have to hunt a bit more to find it.

Are there bugs at the resort?

Answer

There are mild mosquitos during the spring time in Mexico! If you are prone to bug bites, just bring bug spray and you will be fine!

Is the water safe to drink?

Answer

It is advised not to drink the tap water but instead to drink the bottled water offered at the resort.

Bride and Groom stay duration?

Answer

Mark and I will be arriving at the resort on Wednesday the 13th and leaving on Tuesday the 19th. We will be flying Delta out of Lexington. If there are any uneasy flyers reach out to me and we can get you on our same flight or on the flight of other guests!
