U.S. National Whitewater Center

Carolinas Aviation Museum

Walk through the indoor hangar deck and come face-to-face with an F-14 Super Tomcat, DC-3 commercial airliner, CH-46 helicopter transport, and the US Airways Airbus A320 which made a miraculous emergency landing on the Hudson River, Flight 1549, "The Miracle on the Hudson." Create your own adventure by climbing into the cockpit of an F-4 Phantom or Boeing 727. Get ready to experience the wonders of aviation and the stories of the aviators who flew into history.

BATL | The Backyard Axe Throwing League

Rent a target by the hour to learn how to throw, hone your skills, or just unwind after a busy week. Axe Club of America is a private sporting facility that happens to let you drink beer if you choose. Closed Toe Shoes are required! All participants must be 18+ and a valid ID will be required. Hourly bookings must be completed at least 2 hours prior to booking time. Walk-ins are first-come first-serve and are NOT guaranteed.

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

Charlotte’s oldest local brewery. OMB adheres to the oldest purity guidelines in the world, the German “Reinheitsgebot.” This law states there can be only four ingredients in beer: barley or wheat malt, hops, yeast and pure water. On the 19th floor, with panoramic views of Uptown Charlotte, Merchant + Trade is Broken into four distinct zones – indoor bar, outdoor terrace, private terrace and the lawn. Bardo Restaurant

Bardo is a chef-driven, eclectic, American small plate concept located in Charlotte's dynamic South End neighborhood. We highly recommend trying this place out! We love how unique their plates are and that the menu is constantly changing.

Flour Shop

We love grabbing dinner here!! Makes for a great date night when you add dot.dot.dot for a pre or post dinner drink. Upon entering Flour Shop, the first thing that strikes your eye is the kitchen. Our intimate dining room is built around the kitchen, where you have a front row seat to the action. Food is roasting on a crank grill, fresh bread is baking in the wood fired oven, and pasta is being made on the stone counter. Emphasizing a traditional style of cooking with fire while using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, Flour Shop’s cuisine is focused and straight forward. A carefully curated wine list features champagne cocktails and the perfect glass to complement your meal. Our menu changes frequently to best utilize the ingredients offered by our local farmers and fishermen.

We’re in a hideaway that’s easy to find … the second time! (Hunt for our logo on the Backlot of Park Road Shopping Center.) Members enjoy conversations over cocktails and a menu meant to be shared. We’re an inclusive gathering, who know a thing or two about the art of cocktails. This is one of our FAVORITE prohibition bars here in Charlotte.
