We met as students at ATI in South Carolina… at least that's what we tell most. The real story is that we met at a drug test. Dreamy right? Kipp had driven from Sacramento to Greenville in less than 3 days, he had barely slept and was EXHAUSTED! On the other hand, Jordan had spent the summer interning in London and had just returned from a a fun trip through Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands; She was severely jet lagged. Within hours of being in Greenville, we were told we had to have a drug test before school started. Not only did we pass our drug tests, but we met our future spouses! Cheers!

Kipp and Jordan adore traveling! They try to go somewhere totally new each year. In 2019, they set their sights on Croatia! Flying into Split, they stayed at the most adorable apartment inside the Iron Gate at Diocletian's Palace. Their private balcony overlooked the town square and main entrance to the ancient villa. One evening after dinner, they at on the balcony, feet on the railing, drinking wine. Kipp set his phone down, took Jordan’s hand, and walked her down the stairs. They meandered through the restaurants lining the streets and into the open square. Leading her by the hand, he spun her around and pulled her close. Before she knew it, they were dancing in the middle of the square. Let it be known there was NO music, just them dancing. How perfect would this be for a proposal? Ha, well he didn't propose here. He filmed the whole thing from his phone on the balcony which was super cute but she was still a single lady. What's a girl have to do!? Okay, for the REAL proposal story. They woke up in Hvar and Kipp had rented a private cabana for the day. The weather was perfect, the food was incredible, and the champagne was super bubbly! They enjoyed the day and turned in around 4 to get ready for dinner. Kipp had arranged dinner and Jordan was totally in the dark. Hand in hand they walked down to the harbor passing a man with a HUGE camera, Kipp remarked, "We should get him to take our picture!" They laughed and continued on to the mystery destination. As they passed the first pier Kipp suggested they stop a moment to take a selfie (not unusual), as he took Jordans hands in his, he looked her in the eyes and dropped to one knee. SHE WAS SHOCKED! He apparently said the sweetest things but all she could muster was, “Is this for real?” As Kipp pointed to the man with the huge camera... he nodded. Kipp had arranged for a surprise engagement photoshoot and a private boat to take them to dinner off the coast in Hvar. Everything was PERFECT!
