Best Man
The top dawg, Jonut the donut, Jonah-fi-fi-fo-fonah-Jonah, Bobo, Jolina, Best Bro, and my kid brother. Jonah is Co-Best Man with my childhood best friend Miles Godin. They're both ride or die supporters of Jordan J. and "The Jordans". Jonah has always been the best younger brother to Jordan J. and their sister Jessica. Excelling in tennis, Chinese (Mandarin and some Cantonese), soccer, stand-up comedy, and writing, Jonah is a true renaissance man for the ages. Adept in his Seinfeld knowledge, like his older brother Jordan, Jordan swears that Jonah got his comedic timing and fortitude from him. Jonah is indescribably funny though. He's been there for Jordan through thick and thin, thin and thick. Two brothers from the same mother. Always chief confidant, wholly reliable, and a brother and friend to Jordan J., Jordan is very thankful to have Jonah as brother and best man both.
Sabrina "Sissy" Solomon
Maid of Honor
Sabrina "Sissy" Solomon, Jordie's older sister and a great dog owner and dog trainer. Sabrina is mother to Comet and now Stella two wonderful Corgi siblings. She is knowledgeable about all things animal as a former vet tech and animal aficionado. Sabrina is also a skilled and classically trained artist and graduate of VCU. She's always dependable and a huge fan of Jordie and "The Jordans". Jordie is psyched to have her sister as her Maid of Honor!
Miles Godin
Best Man
Miles Godin...what to say...Miles is a friend from the start, always up for adventure, business partner, idea man, part inventor, part mastermind, a budding horticulturist, and steadfast best friend. Miles has known Jordan J. since their first steps together, is Co-Best Man with Jordan's brother Jonah, and is a frequent and vocal supporter of "The Jordans" and assorted pets. You can find Miles wandering the world in search for the perfect plant and brewing his own moonshine. Jordan J. will always be his first choice of ersatz lawyer and confidant.
Catherine "Cat" Carson
Bridesmaid
Catherine is a close friend of Jordie and Jordan's. A long-time friend of Jordan, Cat is all for "The Jordans" and has grown closer to Jordie over the past few years. Cat is an accomplished poet and writer, with a published book of poetry and short non-fiction story to boot. Cat's book "The Land of Opposite Attractions" is a collection of poetry comprising topics around her twenties and all-encompassed therein. Cat is a dog-mom to her beloved Basil with her fiance Mikey along with lovely feline friends including Blaze and Burly. She is an artist, in addition to a phenomenal poet. She's created crochet and fabric arts and recently started a candle business with Mikey called Honeysuckle Candle Co. Catherine is a storyteller at heart and is always regaling the Jordans with all the tea and hot goss. Cat and Mikey are set to be married as well (very soon!) in September. Always one to be there with a hug or a pep-talk, Cat is one of the nicest humans you ever could meet. A creative at heart, Cat is always writing, art-ing, or simply outdoing everyone at something. She is quick to catch-up on all goings ons and has always been a steadfast supporter of "The Jordans". The Jordans are glad to call Catherine a close-friend and Jordie is thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid.
Abe Calhoun
Groomsman
Abe Calhoun, groomsman, politico, and architect extraordinaire. Abe has known Jordan J. since their days playing "Alligator" at Avalon Swim Club as middle schoolers. They lost touch but reconnected as fast friends. Abe somehow connected with Miles a few years ago unbeknownst to Jordan and the three haven't hung out enough. Abe can give an architectural tour of any major metropolitan area like no one's business and currently works as an architect in Washington D.C. He's got jokes, he's got brains, he's an all-around great dude. Welcome to the party!
Abby Walsh
Bridesmaid
Abby Walsh has become a close friend of Jordie's and is wife of groomsman Jonathan Walsh. Jordie admires Abby's tenacity in medicine as a nurse practitioner and her dedication to Jonathan and Abby's dog Sunny. Jordie thinks of Abby as someone she'd aspire to be and Abby is always quick with kind words, interesting anecdotes, and a beaming smile. Abby has always been encouraging that The Jordans embrace their Jewishness and come together to celebrate Shabbat. Jonathan and Abby are an inseparable pair and they were welcomed into the wedding party club with open arms. Jordie and Jordan are so excited to have Abby as part of the party and Jordie is grateful to have her as a friend.
Jonathan Walsh
Groomsman
Jonathan Walsh - Jordan J's co-worker, early morning conversationalist, Friday Cribbage competition, and Oscar season movie-watcher. Jordan met Jonathan at his job at Metro Productions and the two have been fast friends ever since. They talk 80s video games, movies, and catch a weekly game of cribbage. Jonathan helped welcome Jordan into the Metro fold along with Cameron Culbertson. Jonathan always excels at gigging as a singer-songwriter in his free time. Always strumming a guitar and singing originals and covers better than the artists themselves, Jonathan is a music phenom. Jordan J. is honored to have Jonathan partake in the wedding party. Spoiler: Jonathan's wife Abby Walsh is in Jordie's party!
Melissa Neuburger
Bridesmaid
Melissa Neuburger is the creative other half of "Neu-Archie" aka Jack Archie's fiancée and a close friend of Jordie's. Melissa and Jack met The Jordans through a local friend making Discord group and haven't looked back since. Jordie and Melissa bonded over their love of Judaica, similar taste in board games (among them Rummikub), and fascination with all things feline. Jordan was fortunate enough to help take Melissa and Jack's engagement photos, and The Jordans are ecstatic that they could be there for NeuArchie just as Melissa and Jack have shown up for them. Melissa is a video editor, former chief-sandwich-maker, Rummikub champ, and co-cat parent with Jack to cat-tastrophes Muta and Jiji. Jordie is glad to call Melissa a friend and co-conspirator; The Jordans welcome Melissa to the growing party as a bridesmaid.
Jack Archie
Groomsman
Jack Archie is unabashedly original and a fast friend of Jordan J.'s. The two have bonded over board games, trivia, shared interest in mixology, and, believe it or not, financial credit-card perks and maximization. Jack is quick-witted, logical, and able to whip almost anyone in general knowledge trivia. Jordan was lucky enough to meet Jack as his fiancée Melissa Neuburger is in Jordie's party! Jack is part of the Core Four, provided an introduction to Learned League Trivia for Jordan, and is an easy conversationalist and stellar chef. Jordan is proud to call Jack a friend and a member of his party.
Riley Miner
Bridesmaid
A transplant from Texas to Boston and now to Richmond, Riley is wholly welcome in Richmond. After attending Brandeis University, Riley recently made her way to Richmond with her partner Jared, and boy are we glad she did. Riley became fast friends with Jordie and welcomed her into the Jewish community with open arms, as Jordie finished her conversion. The two's personalities just vibed and Jordie will be forever grateful to have found a new friend. Riley and Jared helped The Jordans lose in high falutin' indoor mini golf, tagged along as accompanying Rocky Horror Picture Show fanatics, and aided in stuffing envelopes to send out invitations to this very wedding! Jordie and Jordan are glad to have found such great friends thanks to some Jewish community involvement. Riley is a pun-maker extraordinaire, a book-lover, expert in judaic education, and lovely overall person. Jordie welcomes Riley as the final addition to her bridal party as a bridesmaid with open arms. Jordie and Jordan are thrilled to have Riley officially join the party and partake in a larger role in the festivities.
