Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jordan Neville and Jesus Marrugo
We are so excited to welcome you to Cartagena, Colombia and want you to make the most of your time here! Be sure to check out the Torre del Reloj, the historically important and monument-filled Plaza Aduana, the vibrant Plaza Santo Domingo with its Botero statue, the leafy green Plaza Bolivar that’s frequently filled with dancers and performers, and Plaza de los Coches where you’re sure to experience an authentic night in Cartagena. In the mood for some Colombian history? While you’re out exploring, make sure to check out The Palace of Inquisition, The Gold Museum, and the Church of Santo Toribio. If you are interested in a walking tour, there are many listed through Trip Advisor or you can ask your hotel to set one up!

Alquimico Bar

##34-24 Calle del Colegio, Cartagena de Indias, Bolívar 130001, Colombia

With two stories and a rooftop, this Republic-era building brings the ancient art of alchemy back to life, with its experimental mix of elements. From each of its bars, Alquímico serves up a delicious cocktail menu based around infusions of liquors. It also has an excellent culinary offering of sharing dishes, which uses Colombia’s distinctive ingredients to bring out the best of international recipes.

El Barón

#31-7 Calle San Pedro Claver, Cartagena de Indias, Bolívar 130001, Colombia

Located in the Old City. This is a cool bar in the plaza out front of the San Pedro Claver Church. We recommend grabbing a table outside, try a few cocktails, people watch, and then hop to another recommended restaurant for dinner.

La Cevichería

San Diego, Bolívar 130001, Colombia

For Lunch this is the Best Ceviche in town! This place was also featured on Anthony Bordain's "No Reservations"so be sure to check it out! It's right across the street from Sofitel Santa Clara.

Centro Comercial La Serrezuela

# 39-21 Carrera 11, Cartagena de Indias, Bolívar 130002, Colombia

A converted bull fighting arena, La Serrezuela is now full of shops, restaurants, and more. Go enjoy the beautiful architecture, check out the Velez shop ( great leather store)!, stop and grab a Tinto de Verano at Andres Cartagena, then eat an icecream at Crepes and Waffles.

Getsemani

Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia

This area of the city is filled with arts, murals, crumbling buildings, local homes, kids playing soccer, and an absolute ton of amazing street art here.

Island Hopping

Just 35 kilometers from Cartagena you’ll find the Islas del Rosario, a collection of 30 different islands. Board a boat to spend the day in the sun and enjoy a delicious lunch, or opt for a night in one of the fantastic five star hotels.
