We met at a friends party the summer before my senior year of highschool and the summer that Jordan had graduated. I had always known who Jordan was, a track star in our school, but also a trouble maker. We really didn't talk in school, and our friend group was definitely not the same. During the summer of 2012, my friend and I went to Corey Saul's apartment for a party, and Jordan and I saw each other again....but could not keep our eyes off of each other. It was magnetic. All the years we knew of each other and walked past each other, and there was nothing. That night, it was definitely love at first sight. I stole my friends phone the next day to text him saying "Hey! My friend Haile thinks you're cute, here's her number!". A few days later we met up with all of our friends, and truly from that day forward, we were together everyday....for almost eight years now!

We went out for dinner with a couple of friends of ours in the Highlands, Denver, CO. One of our favorite restaurants, Ramen Star. We love that they make everything from scratch, and the environment is sublime. During dinner, Jordan wasn't talking to me a whole lot, and I thought he was having a bad day. I asked him if he was alright and he stuttered out "Oh! Yea, yea I'm fine!" and chugged some sake. Something was up....I could tell...but had no idea what! As we were walking to our car, our friends mentioned they saw a beautiful mural around the corner and that we should check it out, so we walked that way. The mural was very pretty, and Jordan asked if Ryan & Tara (the friends with us) could snap a pic of our little family. As we are posing, Jordan dropped to one knee with the most amazing ring and geode ring box. I cried immediately and could barely get out my resounding "YES!".
