What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please no jeans or sweatpants! We welcome guests to wear neutral, natural colors (black, brown, tan, greens, blues) to tie in with our color scheme and coastal location.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

June in Newport typically *fingers crossed* has great weather. Temperatures average around 73 degrees and sunny.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors under covered tents at Regatta Place.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presences is the greatest gift and the most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter and a house full of furniture so we will not be having a traditional registry. However, if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we will gratefully accept any contribution towards our funds listed in the registry section of our website.

Are kids/children welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully can not accommodate everyones children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. If we were unable to invite your children, we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There will be free complimentary valet parking at the venue with the option to leave cars overnight if necessary.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. During this time we invite you to be fully present with us, and kindly turn off all devices (cell phones and cameras) and enjoy the special moment with us. Though we’d like the ceremony to be unplugged, we will happily share the photos taken by our amazing photographer. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take pictures and videos and post them using our wedding hashtag #SoucyGetsFryed so we can see them, too!
