Asheville Regional Airport

The Ashville regional airport is the quickest way to get to Bear Lake Reserve. AVL is approximately 1 hour from Bear Lake Reserve.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport

The Charlotte airport is further away from Bear Lake Reserve (approx. 3 hours) but offers many non-stop flights from other larger cities (MSP, DTW, etc) are often cheaper than flying into AVL.

House Or Rental

Stay at Bear Lake Reserve

We recommend booking your lodging ASAP if you plan to join us in April. Lodging on the Bear Lake Property is limited and we are only able to block 8 homes/condos at once. Please visit the website, linked below, to search available properties. Bear Lake offers a variety of houses, condos and villas. We encourage you to coordinate with other couples/families attending due to the fact that many of the homes sleep anywhere from 4-10 guests at once. For staying near the venue/club house, the closest properties are "Lodges" and "Villas" We encourage you to reach out to Makenzie Summer, our lodging specialist, for this event. She can help with reservations and you will also need to book through her to receive the 10% off your stay and be eligible for a 2 night stay (as opposed to the required 3 night). Local Hotels

Due to the remote location of our wedding, there are limited hotels available near the property. If you wish to stay in a hotel, we recommend searching in Sylva, North Carolina. Sylva has a variety of hotels, restaurants and shopping and is approximately 30 minutes from the Bear Lake Reserve.
