One day, I got a text from Jordan out of the blue saying we should hang out sometime. At first, I thought he meant to send it to someone else, but he didn't! Jordan would wait for me for an hour and a half each Monday and Wednesday for my classes to get out and then we would sit at the tables outside our high school talking for hours. Eventually, he invited me over to his house to bake cookies. We watched movies and TV shows, talked at In-n-Out for hours about DC comics and Star Wars, drank coffee at our favorite coffee shop, went to Bible studies and he became my best friend. One rainy day, he took me to coffee at Bidwell Perk. As we drank sugar cookie white mochas, he told me how much he liked me. A few months later, he took me to coffee again with a basket of freshly baked mini muffins and officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Four and a half years later, we walked into Minnie Mouse's house in Disneyland to take a photo and walked out engaged.
