UPDATE: Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases we have decided that for the safety many we are drastically reducing the number of guests to family only. It saddens us all to not see many of you on this special day. We are currently drafting letters to all the guests with this new change. With this in mind, we would love to see all of you for our 1 year anniversary. Details to follow.
We hope we have made enough to reduce the risk of spreading this virus and make everyone feel safe, while still having a great time. Here is a quick rundown: The venue is all outdoors, drinks will be labeled, multiple hand sanitizing stations, masks are required, and the number of guests have been dramatically reduced to easily allow for social distancing. The Venue is large and has plenty of room to spread out.
We ask that guests try to arrive around 4:00 so that everyone has time to get to the venue from the parking lot.
Most of the terrain is grass. So we do not recommend stilettos. Sparklers are not allowed in the county.
Yes, when you are not seated we ask that you wear a mask. Masks will be provided for you as well.
UPDATE: Due to covid the shuttle may not be running. Don't worry the walk from the parking lot to the Venue area is not far, maybe a football field walk on gravel. There will be a shuttle from the parking lot to the venue. The shuttle starts one hour prior to ceremony start time. Please arrive early so there is sufficient time to get everyone to the grounds. The shuttle will stop 10 minutes before the ceremony will begin. Elderly, disabled, and large groups can drop off at the venue and the driver can go back to park the car.
There is a pond on the grounds. Our venue hosts allow the bride and groom to take photos using their small boat. However, guests are not allowed to use the boat.
