This is Dusty's favorite brewery by a long shot. Back Channel Brewing is a destination brewery/taproom located on Lake Minnetonka, serving high quality small-batch beers. Enjoy delicious food with your craft beer from a local food truck that is parked outside the brewery daily. For all the winos out there, feel free to bring in your own "roadie" so you won't feel left out! Back Channel is where Dusty went after house hunting, and ended up deciding on the home we live in today over a soft pretzel and a few drinks!

Young Joni is one of our favorite restaurants in Minneapolis and is James Beard award-winning chef Ann Kim's restaurant located in Northeast Minneapolis. The wood-fire cooking menu features a diverse array of globally influenced dishes and signature wood-fired pizzas. Tucked discreetly behind the restaurant is the back bar, serving craft cocktails and pizzas in a cozy setting. If you are interested, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time; Young Joni is notorious for filling up spots months in advance!
If you have a sweet-tooth like Jordan, you need to make a stop at Honey & Rye! Blood orange pound cake, a bar with the chocolatey caramel crunch of a Twix (Jordan's personal favorite), and an addictive croissant/caramel roll combo called the Morning Bun—those are reasons people line up in St. Louis Park. Artisan breads and pastries are baked daily at Honey & Rye, and are largely comprised of local ingredients that highlight the flavors of our changing seasons. Don't forget to grab a delicious latte on the way out!
Park Tavern Bowling & Entertainment Center has been a landmark in the City of St. Louis Park; we have spent many weekends at "Park Tav" hanging out and bowling with friends, celebrating Gopher games, Dusty's 30th birthday, and so much more. Park Tavern features weekly events such as bingo and karaoke, and you can put your pull-tab abilities to the test on a daily basis. Park Tavern has an "11th Frame" bar in the back of the restaurant which has become a favorite for guests looking for bar games, darts, pool and more.
One of our personal favorite spots (along with Jordan's parents). It’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before, with incredible food (Lobster BLT, Lobster Tacos, Lobster Mac & Cheese, etc etc), boundless drinks, a great selection of the area’s finest craft beers, the best local happy hour food + drinks, and of course, some of the best live local music in the Twin Cities!
The Depot stands as a living, breathing monument to a fantastic era of rail travel off in downtown Minneapolis. During Winter months, the ice skating rink is open to the public. Grab cocktails and a bite to eat after at the delicious Milwaukee Road Restaurant!
