Have dinner and get a fabulous view of Mt. Vernon Square and the Washington Monument at Topside, or grab drinks and do some karaoke on the ground level at the speakeasy, B-Side. Put a coin in the jukebox for the door to open. This is one of our favorite places for date night.

The Bluebird Cocktail Room

Look for this charming speakeasy in the Hampden neighborhood. It's situated between rowhomes, but if you walk up the gray stairs and see outdoor swings, you're heading in the right direction. Sit at the bar or reserve a table.

The Elk Room

If you're looking for a cozy speakeasy with good drinks and live music, this is the place for you. We've been a few times and like the ambiance.
