Directly across the street from Talta Lodge! Get breakfast or lunch before the ceremony and enjoy a discount when you tell them you are staying at Talta. Other breakfast options include Stowe Bagel or Black Cap Coffee.
Cold Hollow Cider Mill
Wonderful spot to check out for Vermont gifts on the way back to the highway! Fresh pressed cider and in the fall they make delicious apple cider donuts.
The Cupboard Deli
Our favorite spot for maple-black raspberry creemees when we lived in Jeffersonville! Jonny loves their whoopee pies.
Stowe Farmers Market
Enjoy local foods and chatting with farmers at the Sunday Farmers Market, a walk down the road from Talta!
Cady Hill Forest
If you're into adventure sports, mountain bike on one of Jonny's favorite trail networks! If you're coming from out of town and need to rent gear, check out Ranch Camp next door, they also have a full bar and tacos for after the ride. :)
Sterling Pond Trail
The trail we hiked to train for Guatemala's volcano ascent! It is steep, but quick, and ends at an alpine pond.
Toll Road
Drive your car up to the top of Mount Mansfield, the tallest mountain in Vermont and where Jonny and Meg love to snowboard and ski in the winter!
Brewster River Gorge Trailhead
Beautiful, swimmable waterfall where we used to pack picnic dates after Jonny mountain biked the trails. This was one of our favorite spots early on into us dating.
Moss Glen Falls
A short walk to a beautiful waterfall on the border of Stowe and Morrisville.
Ryder Brook Golf Club
Bring your clubs if you want a little golf getaway looking out at the green mountains and Mount Elmore!
Prohibition Pig - Restaurant
Delicious BBQ spot that we would frequent after the mountain.
