What dates should we book for our trip?

Answer

Everyone’s travel needs and abilities are different, however we recommend arriving no later than Friday 13th August 2027. This will ensure you’re settled on the island with plenty of time to enjoy all of the wedding weekend celebrations. We recommend Tuesday 17th August 2027 as the earliest departure date, giving you time to recover after a full weekend of celebrating. Of course, the longer you can stay the better — Ios is a beautiful island with plenty to see and do. We’ll be in Ios from 11–18th August 2027.

What will the weather be like?

August is one of the warmest months in Ios, with daytime temperatures typically between 30–33°C. The Cyclades often enjoy a refreshing breeze at this time of year, thanks to the wind.

This is a child-free event, with the exception of our niece and nephews. Please arrange childcare and enjoy a well earned break!

Having you celebrate with us in Ios is the greatest gift! If you’d like to give something extra, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean a lot.
