The Club at Flying Horse
Have access to it all, without leaving the wedding location! Flying Horse offers something for everybody, and we look forward to doing most of it with you all throughout the wedding weekend! All of the resort amenities and activities will be available to all guests staying on site, including but not limited to: Golf: the Weiskopf Course is on site Tennis: both outdoor hard courts (and pickleball) and indoor clay courts Spa: includes everything from massage and facial services to mani/pedi and haircuts Gym: workout facilities including indoor sport-court area Pool: outdoor lap and leisure pool
Garden of the Gods
One of the Springs' must see spots, Garden of the Gods features a landscape truly unique to both the area and country
Manitou Incline
You may look at the length, see it's less than a mile, and think it must be an easy hike. You would be horribly mistaken. 2,768 steps, pretty much straight up. A beautiful hike, just make sure to bring enough water!
U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center
Home of the US Olympic Committee since 1978, there is a museum on site as well
Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Colorado Springs
For those looking to beat the heat, a very nice and kid friendly Great Wolf Lodge is just south of Flying Horse
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The Mountaineer Sky Ride offers great views of the zoo and surrounding area
Red Rock Canyon Open Space
A close and scenic spot to stretch the legs or get out in nature without much hastle
Pikes Peak
Perhaps the most famous of Colorado's 52 "14ers", there are multiple hikes of various difficulty and length, as well as a road that can be driven to the top.
United States Air Force Academy
The newly renovated chapel is a must see
