The dress code is semi-formal attire. People are encouraged to wear midi dresses, maxi dresses or suits. Diamond Cross is a working ranch, and has a lot of grass and gravel, so women are encouraged to keep this in mind when determining what shoes to wear. The ceremony and cocktail hour are held on grass, so I encourage block heels or flats so you are not sinking into the grass.
The ceremony will be held outside, followed by an outside cocktail hour, then an indoor reception.
Typically the weather in October in Jackson Hole is highs of 60s and lows can be in the mid 20s. There is potential for snow in October as well. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, so keep this in mind when you are packing and determining what you will wear! It is best to wear layers to ensure you are warm enough.
We are not providing any formal shuttle service for the welcome dinner. Hatch is located 0.2 miles away from Mountain Modern Resort, so it is easily walkable. There is a small parking lot on site, and ample street parking available. If you aren't up for the short walk, we also encourage lyft/uber if you are planning on drinking to ensure your safety!
The venue is approximately 45 minutes away from the town of Jackson Hole. The road is a small two lane highway with lots of wildlife throughout, as you are actively in a national park. Because of the potential hazardous nature of the roads, we are providing shuttle service to and from the hotel. We strongly encourage all our guests utilize this shuttle, so we do not have to worry about your safety. We want you all the be able to enjoy yourselves at the wedding and not have to worry about how you are going to get home in unfamiliar territory! We will update this site with the exact timing of when the shuttles will leave Mountain Modern to ensure everyone gets on the bus!
The shuttle will pick up at the back of Mountain Modern Resort on Pearl Street. The shuttle will arrive at 2:30 and promptly leave at 2:45. So please make sure you are there on time, because they will not wait.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! If you are planning on drinking even a little we highly encourage you to utilize the shuttle service provided, as uber/lyft does not make the trek out to our venue!
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. The venue itself is remote from town, and not fully set up for children as it is a working ranch. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night! If you are planning on bring your little ones to Jackson, we can help you find childcare for the night of the wedding. Thank you for your understanding!
