We're getting married!

Considering we grew up only a few towns away from each other and were in the same grade, surprisingly enough we met each other online. He knew a few people she went to school with, which is how she decided he was a real person and would go on a date with him. After a nerve-wracking first date, we realized that he grew up going to the same doctor’s office that Brianna’s mom worked at for 20+ years and had met her long before he ever met Bri. We were so infatuated with each other, we took a chance and moved in together after only dating for 4 months. About 4 years later, Jack finally decided to make it permanent. He came home from golfing one day and decided today was the day he was going to ask her to be his wife. He handed her an early birthday present and she opened what she thought was her favorite Harry Potter book. She was so excited thinking it had to be a first edition and opened it up to inspect, only to have the greatest surprise of her life. Inside the pages, a heart-shaped cutout was cradling a beautiful diamond ring. She slammed it shut in shock and stared unbelievably at Jack. She couldn’t fathom that this moment was finally here. Needless to say, it was the best birthday gift she could have ever asked for. After the shock wore off slightly, he revealed that he had it in a shoebox under the bed and they’d been sleeping on top of it this whole time! Not only that, but when he went to pick it up back in March, that same trip is where he caught and also gave her Covid so she couldn’t even be mad at him anymore for getting her sick! It seemed like there were so many missed chances and opportunities to meet, but fate finally stepped in and we couldn’t be happier. Not only did we find our better halves, but we also found a built-in best friend in each other that we can’t imagine living without. Here’s to forever as husband and wife filled with endless laughter and love!
