Wedding Party

Cody Roche

Best Man

Cody and I met auditioning for Teletubbies in 2001. He was auditioning for Tinky-Winky while I went out for the legendary role of Po. Sadly, we didn’t get the parts because we “didn’t have the Tubbie look”. What we lost in tv fame, we gained in friendship.

Raymie Fotherby

Maid of Honor

Raymie and I met when I was the captain of a deep sea fishing boat. She quickly became my right hand woman after we were attacked by giant squid near the Bermuda Triangle. We even managed to take down one of the beasts before the rest of them took down our beloved ship. We may have lost the SS Tortuga... but we have each other's friendship.

Louden Peterson

Groomsman

Even though we’re brothers, Louden and I didn’t get close until we got our start up business going a few years ago. “Peterson’s Petunias” promised to deliver fresh and gorgeous flowers to your doorstep in minutes for your last minute celebrations. The business was quickly disbanded though due to creative differences. Creative differences meaning neither of us knew how to garden, we were mostly jazzed about the alliteration in our name.

Kiera Tomlinson

Bridesmaid

I found my sibling Kiera in the back of a K-Mart parking lot. At the time they were known as Queen of the Rats. I held out a handful of gummy bears and made a bunch of cat noises until they were eating out of the palm of my hand. We've been inseparable ever since.

Isaac Montoya

Groomsman

Isaac and I met on a biking tour in Northern Ireland. We started off on the wrong foot when he convinced me to eat haggis claiming that “it’s Irish for pizza”. We slowly became friends when we discovered our shared interests in hedge funds and Lady John Scott’s love song “Loch Lomond”.

Katie Kubacki

Bridesmaid

Katie owned a rival food truck that was parked next to me every weekend for 4 years. My truck was famous for soup in a bread bowl otherwise known as "Bread Bowling for Soup" and Katie had a Grilled Cheese truck called "Grilled Cheese in Paradise". It wasn't until we saw our customers go to both of our trucks and combine our dishes that we decided to do the same. Two months later we formed "Grilled Soup" and now have eighteen franchise locations all across the East coast.

Kyle Collins

Groomsman

Kyle and I both got hired on being in the Chuck E. Cheese band at the same time. He played guitar while I did vocals. We were known as “The Cheeseheads” and we sold out kids birthday parties left and right. We were unstoppable. I eventually had to step out of the limelight and get serious about my longterm goals but Kyle is still shredding his guitar to this day. He has asked if I would hire his new band to play at the wedding, to which I quickly declined.

Hailey Castillo

Bridesmaid

Hailey and I starred in the all woman production of "Bye Bye Birdie". Hailey, of course, played the ultra cool and suave Conrad Birdie while I played Rosie. Our local production did so well we were asked to tour and put on shows all across the state. Sadly, Hailey was diagnosed with vocal nodules and could perform no more. I refused to do the show without her and stayed behind. We've been best friends ever since.

Tyler Coherd

Groomsman

Tyler and I met when we both enrolled in Spanish History 102 our freshman year. We became friends almost instantly but once the semester ended, he left the country to become a new age conquistador. He is absolutely obsessed with finding treasure that I know for sure does not exist. Nevertheless, he has agreed to stop the hunt for a few days and come to the wedding(in exchange for $40 in Chili’s gift cards).

Kimmie Beach-Collins

Bridesmaid

Kimmie and I were on the 2004 U.S Olympic Fencing team. Kimmie was in a medal match against French superstar Caroline St. Jacque Renard when Caroline made an illegal foil move which was not called. I lost my cool and began yelling expletives, disqualifying Kimmie and giving Caroline St. Jacque Renard the bronze. Not my proudest moment but I think Kimmie appreciated the sentiment.

Max Bradley

Groomsman

Max and I met in 2008 at a U2 concert in Reno, Nevada. We both had gone through some serious break ups and needed to hear “Bullet the Blue Sky” to really get our minds right and reset. Max went on and on about this idea for a fast food chicken restaurant that only served chicken tenders, fries and a signature sauce. He really thought it was an idea worth exploring. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that Canes already existed… he was devastated when he learned years later.

Kaylee Cross

Bridesmaid

Kaylee and I met at a competitive Frog Spotting event in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Halfway through the competition, I spotted the rare 'Mexican Burrowing Tree Frog' seconds before Kaylee could. She threw her binoculars down and called me a "Larry Lizard" which in the Frog Spotting business was about as nasty as you could get. Neither of us ended up winning the competition, but we reconciled after and got a big plate of pancakes at Denny's. We don't frog spot anymore, for the sake of our friendship.

Bumi Peterson

Dog of Honor

We were out hiking in the mountains when out of nowhere we were attacked by a large brown bear. Just when we thought it was over, in came our hero Bumi. He fought off the bear with his ferocious teeth and noxious gas. We asked how we could ever repay him and he said just give me a home I can sleep in and all of the Cheez-It's in the world, white cheddar preferably. He's been our boy ever since.
