Airport of Florence
The Airport of Florence is the closest airport to the city centre, approximately 20 minutes. To get from Florence airport to the city centre you can take the tram which will take you directly to the main train station at Santa Maria Novella and is only a couple of Euros each! From there you can walk or get a taxi to your accommodation - everything is fairly close by! Most major airlines and UK airports fly direct to Florence, but have limited flights and times available. So make sure to book early if you plan to fly to Florence!

Pisa Airport
You can also explore the option of flying into Pisa Airport too. There are more airlines, flight dates and times that fly direct to Pisa. However Pisa is an hours journey via train, alternatively a similar journey time in a taxi or car rental. A bonus of flying in or out of Pisa, is that you can always tie this in with visiting the famous 'Leaning Tower of Pisa'.

Hotels and Accomodation
We have partnered with The Hoxton Hotel in Florence to provide you with some preferred rates, for those who wish to take advantage of. The Hoxton Hotel in Florence only opened in March, it's in fact were we stayed on our recent visit and will also stay here the night before and the night of our wedding. It is located only 10 minutes walk away from the Santa Maria Novella station (central station in Florence), and a 15 minute walk down one street to the historic centre. It also has a tram stop at the end of the street which will take you directly to the central station and Florence airport should you be flying in or out from there! The Hoxton is also where we will also be hosting our welcome drinks the night before the wedding, as well as the meeting point for transport to and from the venue on the wedding day for those who need it. The Hoxton are able to provide a price of €215 per night (approx £185 per night), including breakfast. For a total of 3 nights. You do not need to pay anything up front, just a credit card to secure the room, the total amount payable will be settled at the hotel directly upon your arrival. If you wish to stay longer than 3 nights at the hotel, you will need to contact them directly and they will apply the same rate for however long you need. We are planning to book transportation from The Hoxton Hotel to the wedding venue and back. This will aim to leave the Hoxton Hotel at 15:30 latest and return at 1:00 once the party has finished!
