This is a formal occasion: so men wear ties and blazers. They do have a LOT of light linen blazers out there that are perfect for an ocean front event. Women wear dresses. Think formal “garden party” aesthetic. Rachel and Jon want to look out to our closest friends and family and see a sea of colors! After all, we are in Hawaii. The colors of the wedding are “jewel tones”. Luckily, jewels come in all tones! Have fun with a floral print if you like. And as you would guess NO WHITE (and preferably no black).

On the ocean at sunset, it does get breezy. If you are likely to have a sunburn or get chilled it’s going to be cold. It would be a good idea to bring a light sweater or jacket. This is not a formal event, feel free to dress as nice as you want, but this is more casual.
The different vistas you are able to see on one island! From beaches to rainforest, to lava flats and tubes, and mountain tops! And that’s just land side, the INCREDIBLE visibility in the ocean for snorkeling and scuba diving alike makes you never want to leave.
Yes, to all beach goers: we highly recommend bringing water shoes as most beaches are formed from lava rock. This helps you keep your grip on wet lava rock and protects them from their jagged edges.
