We’re married!

After talking for a couple weeks, we decided to meet up for a lunch date at a local Thai restaurant. At first, we both were pretty nervous. The nerves faded quickly as our rice came out in a heart shape and we shared great food and conversation. But it seemed like the bill came too soon. Jon had the idea to keep the date going with a round of mini golf! It was a very hot day, but we joked about how bad at mini golf Rachel is and enjoyed each other’s company. As quickly as it started—the round of golf was over. So we didn’t stop there! We then drove to Wesselman Woods for a long walk through the nature reserve and shared our first kiss on the trails of a beautiful wooded sanctuary. We talked for hours getting to know each other and laughing. As they day grew later, we figured a movie would be the best way to wrap up our perfect date. Our first date lasted 12 hours and we still didn’t want it to end. Jon had dropped Rachel off at her place late that night, and we have continued to enjoy each other’s company ever since.
