Flight
We know our friends and family will be flying in from many points of origin. We ask that you fly into Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Most accommodations, including Hotel El Convento, are about a ten minute drive from SJU. We strongly suggest arriving no later than Wednesday, 2/22/23, as delays, cancellations and time changes have become more common.
Hotel
Our reception will be located at Hotel El Convento, one of seven members of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and is ocated in the heart of Old San Juan. Hotel El Convento is within walking distance to some of our favorite places in the city. We would love for you to experience the beauty and history of Hotel El Convento, as this is where we will be staying, but we invite you to stay anywhere you’d like!
Travel Note
We use AirBnB when traveling to Puerto Rico, and strongly suggest this option to anyone traveling with a group, their family, and/or are on a budget, as it is usually the most cost-effective. For proximity to the venue, tourist attractions and walkability, we suggest looking for properties in Old San Juan. If you prefer a true tropical vacation experience and would like to stay on the beach, check out properties in Condado, which is just a five minute Uber ride from Old San Juan. Hopper and VRBO are also a great apps for booking travel and/or a rental property.
