COCKTAIL ATTIRE! While we want you to feel relaxed on the rest of your vacation, we ask that you wear cocktail attire to our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We suggest little black dresses, cocktail dresses, suits, dress pants, dress shirts, dress shoes, ties, etc. We kindly ask that you please do not wear shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops or casual clothing. We also ask that you refrain from wearing shades of white, ivory and cream as these colors are traditionally reserved for the bride. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
No. While Hotel El Convento is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, meals and drinks (with the exception of those served at our wedding) are not included in the reservation price. There are restaurants within the hotel, and just steps away outside are many amazing local restaurants, too.
No. While we do suggest staying there the night of our wedding for convenience purposes, you are not required to stay at this hotel. Although we are staying here for the entirety of our trip and would love for you to join us, we would like our guests to stay wherever they feel comfortable! Hotel El Convento is a gorgeous hotel that you will absolutely love if you choose to stay there! We suggest looking at their website and their social media for further details on the hotel.
While we absolutely LOVE your children, our reception will be child-free. We know this may impact your travel, and if it does, please reach out to us directly at (862) 202-0047 so we can make arrangements to accommodate you.
We are planning to have some casual/informal welcome drinks on Wednesday evening, February 22, 2023. We’ll keep you posted on the location and hope you can join us, but no pressure!
