We had our first date here, so it holds a special place in our hearts. The roof top is an incredible spot to watch the sunset over DC!
A true hidden gem of DC (and those who live here want to keep it that way), and by far the best bagels in the city. Come here to curb your carb cravings or cure a hangover! It's cash-only, but they have an ATM at the front of the store. If the line is long, wait it out - they move quickly! This is more of a grab-and-go spot, but we LOVE it.
Al Tiramisu is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in DC! We have had our fair share of date nights here and never leave disappointed (or hungry!). We recommend securing a reservation via Open Table or by phone.
This is our favorite sushi restaurant. Seating is fairly limited at the restaurant, but has a quaint, authentic vibe. We highly recommend the salmon nigiri and would pay quite a bit to get their house salad ginger dressing recipe.
A great spot we love to go to for drinks - Mercy Me is the hotel restaurant and bar at Yours Truly. We come for the atmosphere and stay for the dirty martinis and gimlets!
Le Diplomat (or Le Dip, as us locals call it) is a staple French restaurant in DC. It is a bit pricey, but still a great spot for both brunch and dinner, and we love their cocktails!
Martin's Tavern is an American Cuisine restaurant rich with history. Located in Georgetown, it has been open for over nine decades. Stop by for brunch, lunch or dinner, and see the famous booth where JFK proposed to Jackie!
Kramer's is a combo bookstore and restaurant, serving modern American cuisine. They serve breakfast all day, and host events like Trivia Night, poetry readings and book discussions. Come by to grab a book and a bite!
The National Zoo is a great spot to explore for a bit of wildlife in the city! Entry passes are free for all guests and can be secured through the website. The East building displays more modern and contemporary works. The Sculpture Garden is outdoors and spans over 6 acres. The Folger Shakespeare Library hosts the largest collection of Shakespeare's work!
Go visit America's First Museum of Modern Art in Dupont Circle!
