Blue Spring State Park
Within a 30 minute drive of Lake Mary, Blue Spring State Park is home to a first-magnitude spring that is one of the largest winter gathering sites for manatees in Florida. From mid-November to March, hundreds of manatees gather in the 72-degree spring run to seek shelter from the cold. Camping, hiking, canoe/kayak rentals, and guided riverboat tours are also available for those seeking a little adventure!

Filled with delightful exhibits, attractions, and activities, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers tourists a glimpse into the world of space and technology. From the inception of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, visitors get an up-close experience of the stories of humans in space. The Visitor Complex also contains historic spacecraft and memorabilia, two IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours of the spaceport, among many other exhibits.
