We met in Washington, D.C. while interning for the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire in 2015. Nadia applied for one internship that year, Jonathan applied for almost 15 - but we both ended up at Scripps.

Jonathan proposed shortly after Thanksgiving last year in Sweetheart Circle in Statesboro, where Nadia grew up, on top of the dead whale. It was nice to return for six months later for our mini-engagement shoot.
