How We Met
June 9, 2018
Jonathan and Ivory met at their good friend Marissa's college graduation party! Ivory and Marissa went to high school together while Jonathan and Marissa went to Pace University. Ivory stood on the balcony while Jonathan looked up from below. They made eye contact and it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, Ivory was dating someone else at the time and said no when Jonathan asked her out, despite the instant chemistry they shared. They never forgot each other, though.
The Adventure Begins

Ivory remembered how Jonathan had said to keep him in mind if she was ever interested in reconnecting, and sent the text that started it all!
Our First Date
July 20, 2019
After a month of nonstop texting, Jonathan and Ivory had their first date in Pleasantville. They shared ice cream at the Coldstone Creamery, explored The Village Bookstore, and capped the day off with a dance under the gazebo in Memorial Plaza.
Confession
July 31, 2019
Jonathan told Ivory he loved her for the first time after their third date (they went bowling)!
National Girlfriend's Day
August 8, 2019
Jonathan greeted Ivory at her house with a bouquet of yellow roses and took her on a picnic. At this picnic, lightning shot across the sky at the same time a rainbow did! He also gifted her chocolate chocolate chip ice cream made specially for her from the Coldstone Creamery. Fun fact: Ivory's dog, Emily Dickinson, was so happy to meet Jonathan that she jumped in his lap and rolled all over him the first time he sat on the couch!
The Proposal

Jonathan took Ivory on a weekend getaway to her favorite hotel, The Water's Edge Resort and Spa, in Westbrook, Connecticut. That night, they took a walk around the grounds and he proposed to her under the gazebo overlooking the ocean!
