Garden of the Gods
Located just an hour south of the Littleton area, the Garden of the Gods is a great 1/2 day activity for all ages. Along the way you will pass the famous Air Force Academy, Manitou Incline, and Pike's Peak Summit (14,000+ feet // 4,267 meters). There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping around the area.

Rocky Mountain National Park
One of the most popular National Parks in the United States, Rocky Mountain never disappoints! The beginning of October starts the Elk rutting season so wildlife is guaranteed. Do not let the less than two hour journey steer you away, as the drive itself is breathtaking and a stop in the town of Boulder along the way is an added bonus.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
The world famous Amphitheater is a MUST SEE. Whether you have tickets to a show or not, Red Rocks Park has great hiking trails and views of Denver and beyond.
