El Peñón de Guatapé

The Peñón de Guatapé is an outcrop of the Antioquia Batholith and towers up to 200 meters (656 feet) above its base. Visitors can scale the rock via a staircase with 708 steps built into one side. There is an entrance fee of COP 25,000 to climb to the top of the rock.

El Castillo Museum and Gardens

El Castillo Museum and Gardens is a Colombian museum in the El Poblado district of Medellín. It offers permanent exhibitions of objects in porcelain and glass, stained glass, antiques, paintings, and sculptures, among other things. The permanent exhibit contains nine rooms and an outside garden. It's the perfect romantic spot for a date.

Jardín Botánico de Medellín

Museum of Antioquia

The Museum of Antioquia is an art museum in Medellín, Colombia. It houses a large collection of works by Medellín native Fernando Botero and Pedro Nel Gómez. It was the first museum established in Antioquia department and the second in Colombia.

Plaza Botero - Medellín, Antioquia

Botero Plaza, surrounded by the Museum of Antioquia and the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, is a 7,000 m² outside park that displays 23 sculptures by Colombian artist Fernando Botero, who donated these and several other artworks for the museum's renovation in 2004.

Pueblito Paisa

The Pueblito Paisa is a replica of a typical Antioquia village from the beginning of the 20th century. It is located on the top of Cerro Nutibara. At the Pueblito Paisa you can enjoy handicrafts, eat a bandeja paisa, listen to troubadour music, have a coffee, learn about history, and observe the city, the mountains and the valleys from an aerial perspective. Pueblito Paisa is a must-see place in Medellín and admission is free.
