WHERE WILL THE BRIDE & GROOM BE STAYING?

Answer

We will be staying at the "Versus Hotel". This hotel is in the Poblado area. We recommend booking your hotels around this area because it is one of the safer neighborhoods and easy to move around the city. We also recommend booking your rooms sooner rather than later due to availability.

Nos alojaremos en el "Hotel Versus". Este hotel está en la zona del Poblado. Te recomendamos reservar tu estadia por esta zona. Es uno de los barrios más seguros y fáciles de moverte por la ciudad. También recomendamos reservar sus habitaciones lo antes posible debido a la disponibilidad.

DO YOU NEED TO EXCHANGE USD TO COLOMBIAN PESOS?

Answer

You do need Colombian pesos, just in case your card does not work or that particular place only takes cash. Please note: If you need to exchange money, DO NOT exchange at the airport. Please speak to Jonathan & Lorena beforehand, if you need to exchange cash.

Sí necesitas pesos colombianos, por si tu tarjeta no funciona o el lugar en particular solo acepta efectivo. Tenga en cuenta que si necesitas cambiar dinero, NO lo hagas en el aeropuerto. Habla con Jonathan y Lorena de antemano si necesitas cambiar dinero en efectivo, ellos te diran donde es mejor.

YESS!!! We are planning on getting some drinks with our family and friends on Wednesday late afternoon/early evening. It will be at the Versus Hotel Rooftop. Please reserve in the RSVP so that we can have a head count!

WHAT IS THE BEST AREA OF THE CITY TO STAY IN?

We recommend staying in El Poblado. This area is known for its lively atmosphere, with bustling streets, vibrant nightlife, and a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars. El Poblado is also one of the safest areas in Medellin. It has a strong police presence and a reputation for being popular among tourists. The neighborhood is well-developed, offering easy access to amenities such as supermarkets, shopping malls, banks, and pharmacies. Many accommodations in El Poblado boast stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains, providing a picturesque backdrop for your stay.

¿CUÁL ES LA MEJOR ZONA DE LA CIUDAD PARA ALOJARSE?

Recomendamos alojarse en El Poblado. Esta zona es conocida por su ambiente animado, vibrante vida nocturna y una variedad de restaurantes, cafeterías y bares. El Poblado es también una de las zonas más seguras de Medellín. Tiene una fuerte presencia policial y reputación de ser popular entre los turistas. Está bien desarrollado y ofrece fácil acceso a servicios como supermercados, centros comerciales, bancos y farmacias.

HOW IS THE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO EL POBLADO?

Answer

The ride from José María Córdova International Airport to El Poblado is about 45 minutes to an hour. We recommend arraigning private transfer. Please reach out to Jonathan or Lorena if you need recommendations. Most hotels also offer airport pick-up service.

¿CÓMO ES EL TRANSPORTE DEL AEROPUERTO HACIA EL POBLADO?

Answer

El viaje desde el Aeropuerto Internacional José María Córdova hasta El Poblado dura entre 45 minutos a una hora. Recomendamos procesar traslado privado. Comunícate con Jonathan o Lorena si necesitas recomendaciones. La mayoría de los hoteles también ofrecen servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto.

¿HABRÁ TRANSPORTE A LA IGLESIA?

Answer

No. Cada uno es responsable de llegar a la iglesia por su cuenta. Puedes pedirle al hotel que te llame un taxi o contratar un conductor privado. Para aquellos de ustedes que se hospedan en el "Versus Hotel", podemos ayudarlos a coordinar el transporte a la iglesia ya que muchos de los invitados se hospedarán allí.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO THE CHURCH?

Answer

No. Everyone is responsible for getting to the church on their own. You can either ask the hotel to call you a Taxi or arrange for a private driver. For those of you staying at the "Versus Hotel," we can help you coordinate transport to the church since many of the guests will be staying there.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO THE RECEPTION?

Answer

YES! There will be transportation from the church to the reception. Please let us know if you will need transportation to the reception no later than two months before the wedding. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to us directly.

¡SÍ! Habrá transporte desde la iglesia hasta la recepción. Dejanos saber si necesitas transporte a la recepción a más tardar dos meses antes de la boda. Si tienes alguna pregunta o inquietud, no dudes en comunicarte con nosotros directamente.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION AT THE END OF THE RECEPTION?

Answer

YES! At the end of the party, there will be shuttles outside of the venue. The shuttles will be dropping off all guests at the "Versus Hotel". YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL IN ORDER TO GET THE SHUTTLE BACK TO EL POBLADO. Everyone staying somewhere besides the "Versus Hotel" will be responsible for finding their way back to their hotels from the drop-off location. Please let us know in the RSVP, when it's activated if you will need transportation.

¡SÍ! Al finalizar la fiesta, habrá traslados. Los servicios de transporte dejarán a todos los invitados en el "Versus Hotel". NO TIENE QUE ALOJARSE EN ESTE HOTEL PARA OBTENER EL TRANSPORTE DE REGRESO A EL POBLADO. Todos los que se alojen en un lugar que no sea el "Versus Hotel" serán responsables de encontrar el camino de regreso a sus hoteles desde el Versus. Háganos saber en el formulario de confirmación de asistencia, cuando esté activado, si necesitará transporte.

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing to the wedding?

We kindly request that guests avoid wearing green, mauve, lilac, or light colors like champagne, off-white, or cream. This will help ensure that the bridal party stands out and keeps the focus on the happy couple. We appreciate your understanding!
