Claire & Jonathan met at a country bar in Temecula called Stampede…definitely not where you expect your life to change, but somehow exactly where theirs did. Claire’s best friend Rachel spotted Jonathan on the dance floor and (being the best wingwoman ever) went up to him and asked if he wanted to dance with her. Jonathan says it was game over the second he saw Claire… and Claire swears she felt the same way the moment she looked at him. He walked up, asked her to dance, and they ended up dancing for hours like they had known each other forever. Eventually, they made their way outside to actually talk and get to know each other, and everything just felt easy, they instantly clicked. It honestly felt like something straight out of a movie. They ended the night with a kiss, Jonathan asked for Claire’s number, and two days later they went on their first date… and the rest is history 🩵

Claire & Jonathan took a trip to Kauai, Jonathan’s first time, but a place that has always been so special to Claire. What she didn’t know was that Jonathan had been planning something for months… Jonathan had thoughtfully planned every detail leading up to this moment, even sharing his intentions with family ahead of time…while keeping the exact timing a complete surprise for everyone. During the trip, he arranged a couples photoshoot, something that felt natural and unsuspecting. It was originally planned for the day before, but after an unexpected storm rolled in, they had to reschedule for the following day, their last full day in Kauai. That day turned out to be absolutely perfect. They hiked out to a secluded cliffside overlooking the ocean, and shortly into the photos, Jonathan led Claire to the edge, turned her to face him, took her hands… and got down on one knee. It was the most thoughtful, romantic, and perfect moment, completely unexpected and everything they could have ever dreamed of. And of course, she said yes!! The photoshoot Jonathan had planned naturally turned into an engagement shoot, capturing the very beginning of this next chapter…memories they will now have forever. Kauai had already become such a meaningful place throughout this trip, but that moment made it unforgettable. It’s also what led them to decide to start their forever in the same place 🩵
