FAQs

If you have any other wedding questions not answered here, please contact one of our wedding coordinators directly. Let's let the bride and groom enjoy their special day! Leah Torrison (ceremony): ltorrison@eclife.org Christine Shingleton (reception): cbausman1395@gmail.com
Question

What are you doing about the 50 person limit for gatherings starting July 24th?

Answer

Both of our venues are churches operating at 50% capacity so are wedding is exempt from this rule and we are going forward as planned with our intended guest count.

Question

Are you still having the wedding on July 25, 2020?

Answer

We are going forward with our wedding as planned. As of now, our guest attendance falls within the acceptable range for the date of our wedding. If the government would issue new information closer to the wedding date, we will be in contact and do what is best for the health and safety of others.

Question

What is your policy on masks?

Answer

We are not requiring masks at this event and will update our wedding site if this changes. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so. If you are not comfortable attending without all guests being in masks or are showing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask you respectfully decline your invitation and watch our ceremony online. You can watch our ceremony live at 2pm on July 25th on Facebook by adding Jonathan Shingleton as a friend. Thank you for your understanding on this difficult issue!

Question

How are you adapting your wedding to meet current health concerns?

Answer

We are doing everything we can think of to keep our guests safe! For the ceremony, ushers will space guests further apart in the pews. We will also be having a "no contact" receiving line. Ushers will dismiss guests from their seats following the ceremony to limit large crowd gatherings. At the reception, all guests will have assigned seating with their party. Only the caterers will be serving the drinks, food, and cake to guests. Hand sanitizer stations will be available at both the ceremony and reception entrances and guests will be required to sanitize upon entrance.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but our seating is limited. Please only bring children if your family is listed on your invitation!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have "Guest" listed on your invitation, feel free to bring someone along. Our seating is limited so please RSVP to let us know who will be attending!

Question

How do I accept my invitation?

Answer

Simple! Just click on the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page, enter your first and last name exactly as it appears on your invitation. Only enter 1 name from your invitation or it will not work. All members of your party will appear upon entering 1 name on your invitation. If you are still having trouble, please email your guest attendance to Carissa's email at cbo529@outlook.com. Please let us know who will or will not be attending!

Question

What can I expect for food?

Answer

We will serve some yummy hors d'oeuvres, cake, and sparkling grape juice. If you need gluten free cake, please ask the caterers at serving time. No alcohol will be served at this event.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Simply click on the "Registry" tab at the top of the page and click on the web link to view our registry.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal event! We ask you dress nicely. Jeans would not be appropriate.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception have their own parking lots. There is also ample street parking. We suggest carpooling to ensure you get a spot.
