Sammy Larkin
Matron of Honor
Sammy is Abby’s older sister. She is doubling as the matron of Honor and the planner of this wedding!! (Check out Ackin Events for your event planning needs!) Sammy was the first person Abby told when she and Jonathan started dating. Sammy and Abby are similar in many ways and very much so opposites in others, but most of the time it balances out well. Together they enjoy working on the Ackin Events business, with Abby supporting Sammy throughout her dream and living our best life in Disney!
Oliver Banks
Best Man
Oliver is Jonathan’s younger brother. He is Jonathan’s Best Man and has been Jonathan’s best friend throughout his life. Growing up so close in age (and sharing a room all their life until Jonathan moved out) brought these two close together. Growing up, the 4 Banks siblings spent a majority of time together. And were (and still are) very close. They were always in the same sports, most of the time on different teams until they got the opportunity to play rugby together. Jonathan looks back on these matches fondly as he finally got to play with his little brother. They now enjoy playing video games such as Formula 1 racing and Call Of Duty Zombies together.
Emma Banks

Emma is Jonathan’s Older Sister. She is closest sibling to Jonathan in age. Growing up, the 4 Banks siblings spent a majority of time together. And were (and still are) very close. Emma has recently introduced Jonathan to indoor climbing called bouldering. They have enjoyed spending some extra time together.
Brennon Everetts

Brennon is Jonathan and Abby’s friend from childhood. Jonathan met Brennon in the 3rd grade. Abby met Brennon in 8th grade. He has been a very good friend who has stuck by Jonathan’s side through it all. For the past 16 years for Jonathan and the past 10 years for Abby, Brennon has been an integral part of their friend group. Whether it be getting food, hanging out at someone’s house or having a game night, we always find time to see the boys.
Sydney Banks

Sydney is Jonathan’s younger sister. Growing up, the 4 Banks siblings spent a majority of time together. And were (and still are) very close. With Jonathan’s aviation career, Sydney has also gained interest. They like to spend their time together getting Boba and sitting at the plane viewing area at MSP watching the takeoffs and landings.
Jordan Klett

Jordan is Jonathan and Abby’s friend from childhood. Jonathan met Jordan in the 3rd grade. Abby met Jordan in 8th grade. He has been a very good friend who has stuck by Jonathan’s side through it all. For the past 16 years for Jonathan and the past 10 years for Abby, Jordan has been an integral part of their friend group. We always make time to do something whenever we get the chance. Whether it be getting food, hanging out at someone’s house or having a game night, we always find time to see the boys.
Becca Miles

Becca is Abby and Jonathan’s college friend and long time roommate. Abby is so lucky to have had Becca as her suitemate in their first year of college. They bonded quickly and became quick friends. They have lived together ever since! We love games and a good sporcle night!

Jack is Jonathan and Abby’s friend from childhood. Jonathan met Jack in the 3rd grade. Abby met Jack in 8th grade. He has been a very good friend who has stuck by Jonathan’s side through it all. For the past 16 years for Jonathan and the past 10 years for Abby, Jack has been an integral part of their friend group. Whether it be getting food, hanging out at someone’s house or having a game night, we always find time to see the boys.
Emma Pfaffl

Emma is Abby and Jonathan’s friend they met at work. They haven’t known each other for all that long but they have grown close quickly! Emma and Abby clicked immediately and became friends instantly. We have so much in common and love talking about anything and everything. We have spent numerous nights just sitting on the couch and just talking or listening to each other about everything!
Peyton Overholser

Peyton is Jonathan and Abby’s friend from childhood. Jonathan met Peyton in the 6th grade. Abby met Peyton in 8th grade. He has been a very good friend who has stuck by Jonathan’s side through it all. For the past 12 years for Jonathan and the past 10 years for Abby, Peyton has been an integral part of their friend group. Whether it be getting food, hanging out at someone’s house or having a game night, we always find time to see the boys.
Natalka Mak

Natalka is Abby and Jonathan’s friend from college. Abby met Natalka thanks to Natalka’s mom, Michelle. Natalka’s brother was on Jonathan’s club soccer team and at his graduation party, Michelle told Abby that’s her daughter was in the same program and some of the same classes at UND! Abby looked for Natalka in the halls before class, and they became friends! They love a game night with some beverages. They are very good at pandemic (the board game).
Tim Peterson
Groomsman
Tim is Jonathan and Abby’s friend from UND. Tim and Jonathan grew close through Rugby. Being the two most experienced players on the team helped a lot! They ran practices and ran over opponents on the pitch. They quickly developed a friendship that extended past their mutual love of rugby. We love anytime together, this has frequently been sitting at a bar watching sports with a few Guinness’s (Nitro only) or virtually by playing a variety of video games.
Spencer Everetts
Officiant
Also known as Jonathan and Abby’s 3rd wheel throughout the second half of high school. Obviously it was only fitting that he marry us! Spencer has been the best friend to both Jonathan and Abby. He was one of the hardest goodbyes for both of us when we had to leave for North Dakota and he couldn’t come with us. We always make time on trips to visit Spence, and he comes up to visit us in North Dakota as well. We are truly blessed to have him be such an amazing part of our day.
