A Note to Our Loved Ones
When we first imagined our wedding, we pictured exchanging vows in a national park. From the start, simplicity, intention and nature guided our vision.
Through Syd’s work as a travel nurse, the West Coast became a season of discovery, leading us to the Yosemite area—a place that felt grounding, expansive, and deeply peaceful.
As we learned more about National park rules, we realized that many of the elements we hoped for in a ceremony wouldn't be possible. While we respected those rules, we found ourselves wanting a more ceremonial moment to fully honor our commitment. Choosing a private Airbnb overlooking Yosemite allowed us to create an intimate micro-wedding with a very small handful of loved ones in a way that felt true to us.
Please know this choice was never about excluding anyone. Our family means the world to us, and your love, support, and presence in our lives are carried with us into this next chapter and beyond.
