How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Please see the directions tab

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony time of 4:00 PM. This will ensure that we can get the party started on schedule. Please park on the side of the road in front of the residence. Carpooling is encouraged. For timing on other events, please refer to the Schedule tab.

Question

What will happen after the ceremony? Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

The wedding party and immediate family will be taking pictures nearby. In the meantime, guest can head to the tent for refreshments, snacks, games, and activities. Dinner and libations will be served at 6:00 PM. We will be serving a taco bar with vegetarian/vegan options. Music and dancing will follow into the evening.

Question

How do I get to the campground?

Answer

Please see the directions page of this website. This campground is in Glendo State Park, and requires a vehicle permit.

Question

Do I need a Glendo State Park vehicle pass?

Answer

If you are planning on attending any events at the Custer Cover Campground, then yes. However, if you are just passing through to the Reed residence, you will not need to purchase a vehicle pass. You can purchase these passes using cash or check at the campsite, or at the booth located at the entrance to the park. The fee is $9 per day, and $16 per night. If you are camping, you will need to pay the overnight parking fee. Carpooling is encouraged to the state park. If this fee is outside of your budget, you can park at the Reed Residence and walk/carpool to the campground.

Question

Do I have to camp?

Answer

No, but we would love if you could: We'll be there it would be great to hang out with you around the campfire. Please decide on your preferred accommodations, and refer to either the Camping or Hotels tab for further information. We have pre-paid for a number of campsites, but have left hotel accommodations up to the guests.

Question

How should I plan for the weather?

Answer

This is an outside wedding, with lots of outside events planned. Mother Nature is unpredictable, and we are going to be in Wyoming. Be prepared for sun, wind, and rain. Average September high is 76 and low is 40. Check the weather, and come prepared.

Answer

There is no dress code for any of the events. Dress casual, comfortable, and weather ready. We suggest comfortable footwear. For suggestions on attire for the ceremony and reception, please reference the Ceremony section on the Schedule tab.
