If you fly into Denver, you can rent a car or take a shuttle to Eagle. It typically takes around 2.5 hours. Be careful of Friday traffic. During the summer months and ski season, travel to the mountain on Fridays can get very busy and delayed. Best to come Thursday night or very early Friday morning.
Wear what you want. Dress up if you want or stay relaxed. Mountain casual attire recommended. Days should be nice, especially if it is sunny. Nights typically get chilly and you will want warmer clothes.
There is plenty of parking at Brush Creek Pavilion. There is a public playground next to the pavilion that shares the parking lot at the end. Feel free to park there. Parking directly across from the pavilion as you are driving in is reserved for the pavilion. Should those fill up, there is a parking lot on the other side of Capital street also reserved for pavilion use.
There are minimal Uber and Lift cars/drivers in the valley. We'd recommend using RIDE taxi, 970-949-1111 if you need to get around.
Yes!! Dancing is my passion in life. I had hip surgery in July with a LONG recovery. I can do some things, but very restricted on the dance floor. Please don't tempt me, I'm weak! ;) Yet, I fully want you to boogie hard! Also, be prepared to do a little dance in order to be released to get food! Extra points for choreographed and/or planned ahead little bits. :)
In early October, day time in Eagle is typically around 70 degrees when it's sunny. It is comfortable. There is a small possibility of snow as well, so be prepared and check the weather close to when you are coming out. Nights typically cool down closer to not far above freezing temperatures.
Alaiya is Kristen's amazing 4-year old daughter. She adores Jon and is excited for him to be her step father. She couldn't be happier to add Jon to our little family, nor have the wedding happen sooner. She's very excited and wants Jon with us all the time! ;) Alaiya's daddy Tommy is also involved in her life and she love spending time with him as well. Lots of Love for our sweet girl! :) <3
