Memorial Union
Our first date was at the Memorial Union Terrace, working on a chemistry lab under the string lights on a warm October night. Our favorite place to enjoy a pitcher of beer with friends outside overlooking Lake Mendota!
Dane County Farmers’ Market and State Capitol
If you have time on Saturday morning, we highly recommend the Farmers' Market on the Capitol Square. Grab some Stella's cheesy bread and a bouquet of fresh flowers, and pop into the Capitol for some beautiful architecture.
Arboretum
Many half marathon training runs were taken through the arboretum. Stop in here for a stroll to see the beautiful fall colors not far from downtown.
Picnic Point
Murphy's favorite place to go hiking and our favorite spot to enjoy a picturesque view of Madison's skyline.
