We're getting married!

It was each of our very first class of college in the UW-Madison Mechanical Engineering building and we had both arrived WAY too early. Jon walked into the classroom and saw the only seat taken by a very cute girl. Not wanting to seem too eager, but also not wanting to seem disinterested, he sat with one seat in between them. (Very sly) Not soon after our TA entered into the room and introduced herself as Katie. Katie responds with, "No way! I'm Katie too!" To which Jon replied, "No way! Me too!" Dead silence.... Jon took that as his sign that Katie (not the TA Katie) was into him too.

On Observatory Hill overlooking Lake Mendota near Katie's freshman year dorm, and at the site of our very first kiss, Jon put together a lovely little picnic. Murphy was invited, but only following a practice picnic one month earlier at James Madison Park to make sure he could handle it. Despite a brief sprinkle, we had an amazing time which was cut a bit short when Jon got antsy to pop the big question! And with no small amount of help, a short walk to the Memorial Union Terrace revealed friends and family from across the country to help celebrate with us! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
