You'll notice we don't have a traditional wedding registry and that is because in both our cultures we don't usually do registries. It is common to gift a couple money to help them with their new journey together as husband and wife. This can be for purchasing and furnishing our first home, Enjoying a honeymoon, or offsetting wedding costs. In Chinese culture it is called a hóngbāo ( 紅包 ) where you gift money in an envelope, in Portuguese culture we do a money dance where you pay to dance with either the bride or groom and Egyptian culture, well, they gift gold but we're not expecting that. We've created a cash fund registry for our honeymoon, House down payment, betting on future children etc. if you'd like to contribute to any of them we'll be forever grateful! Thank you for being a part of our new journey together <3
