Wine Tasting in Edna Valley & Paso Robles
Explore wineries in Edna Valley such as Biddle Ranch Vineyard, Edna Valley Vineyard, and Wolff Vineyards. For a larger selection, head to Paso Robles, where you’ll find world-class wines and breathtaking views—often less crowded and more authentic than Napa. Montaña de Oro State Park
A stunning coastal park with beautiful hiking trails, sea cliffs, sandy beaches, and panoramic ocean views. It’s the perfect spot for a scenic walk, a picnic, or just soaking in the natural beauty of the coast.
Hearst Castle
Tour Hearst Castle, a stunning historic estate perched above the coast—one of the region’s most iconic attractions. On the way, you can stop to see the elephant seals lounging on the beach or wander through the charming seaside town of Cambria.
Beach Day
SLO County has no shortage of awesome beaches and cute beach towns. For that classic SoCal vibe, head to Pismo or Avila Beach. If you want something a little more laid-back, Morro Bay and Cayucos have that small fisherman-town feel, plus great antique shops. And if you’re up for a little drive, Cambria is super charming—kind of like a mini Pacific Northwest town—with cute shops and Moonstone Beach, where you can find pretty rocks and sea glass along the shore.
Big Sur
If you’ve got a car and some extra time, head up the coast to Big Sur for jaw-dropping views and amazing hikes. Check out the Salmon Creek Falls trail for a stunning waterfall, wander through redwoods at Limekiln State Park, or head down to Sand Dollar Beach.
Farmers’ Market in Downtown SLO
One of the biggest and coolest farmers’ markets around! Held every Thursday evening, it’s a festive spot to browse local produce, crafts, live music, and tons of delicious food stalls. Olivia and Jonah are planning to attend the Thursday before the wedding and invite any guests in town to join them!
