We’re getting married!

We actually met thanks to Match.com! We had been chatting a little here and there, then decided to meet for coffee after church. One of us was late and the other almost decided to not show up, but once we met, we sat for three hours chatting and getting to know one another.

Early morning on the first of the year, we got up to go on a winter hike with our dog Watsyn to see an upper penninsula attraction-ice caves. Despite unintentionally venturing too far and missing a turn, we did make it to see a frozen waterfall and it was so beautiful! As we rested and revelled in the the beauty of the glittering frozen ice, we started reminiscing about the year we had just closed out. 2019 had offered it’s fair share of trials for us both, but we were so thankful for all of the blessings and growth that came with it. So it was there in the snow, with a frozen beard, that Stephen got down on one knee and asked for forever!
