The Orlando Science Center is located in the downtown part of Orlando rather than the tourism district near the theme parks. It is located about 20 miles (or a 30 minute drive without traffic) from Disney World and 12 miles (20 minute drive without traffic) from the Universal/ International Drive area.
We recommend staying in the Winter Park area if you would like to be closer to the Orlando Science Center.
