We first met in a high school theater program, a little more than a decade ago. We were interested in each other in 2012, but there was a standing rule against changing your relationship status during the two weeks before the show - you weren't allowed to start or stop dating someone during that time. As soon as the curtain fell on closing night, we raced to find each other in the audience and started seeing each other. Nine years, six graduations, three colleges, and two states later, that same love lives on.
