Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors. However, tents will be available.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are asking guests to wear semi-formal attire. That means, men wear a suit and tie, and women wear a dressy skirt and top, a pantsuit, or a cocktail dress. The bridal party will be wearing a burnt orange color, and the men will be wearing navy suits. Lastly, festivities will be outside on grass so please wear comfy shoes to allow for dancing and comfort! No jeans please!

Can I bring a plus one?

We are able to accommodate those listed on the invitation! We hope you understand!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! When you pull in, please turn to the left and park in the grass. There will be a grass pathway that takes you to the ceremony and reception area. Should you need assistance, there will hopefully golf carts available to bring you up.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 3:50pm to ensure you're comfortably seated before our ceremony begins at 4pm sharp.

What’s the weather going to be like?

Answer

As we do live in South Carolina, it will probably still be HOT. So bring your summer clothes, but a hoodie just in case! September is also a high hurricane month, so keep that in mind as well!

Do you have any hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! Please click on the travel tab to see the hotel accommodations. We have hotel blocks at Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn. Both hotels offer free hot breakfast as well!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation provided to and from the hotels to our wedding. We recommend renting a car, especially if you are flying in.

Where are you registered at?

Answer

We've created our wedding registry on Zola. We are grateful for any gesture, but we want you to know your presence is the best gift of all.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by August 1st so we can plan accordingly! If you'd like to call us instead, you are more than welcome to!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment!

When should I come down for the festivities? What is there to do in the area?

Answer

Thursday night or Friday before the wedding would be great! We would love for you to explore and have a weekend in Charleston while you are here, so please check out our Things to Do tab!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

The days events are rain or shine! Check the weather, and bring an umbrella just in case!
