It was Wednesday, December 28th, 2022. Jolie was invited to a girls night with a few friends. Drinks at Merchant & Trade, and then walking around Truist Field for the Light the Knights festival. One of Jolie's friends had a very, VERY detailed story about meeting up with another friend in a suite at Truist Field. Apparently, the "friend" had a company event in the suite and invited us all to stop by and say hi before walking around the park. As they're walking up to the suite, Jolie's friends jokingly suggest they should walk in height-order - obviously, Jolie being the tallest and going in first! Jolie opens the door to the suite, thinking they were walking in on a company event hosted by a friend of a friend. But then... she sees Thomas! And immediately bursts into tears. With both families and friends in attendance, the city in the background, Jolie said yes to spending the rest of her life with her best friend. :)
