Flight
For guests flying directly to Hong Kong (HKG), we recommend Cathay Pacific for its nonstop routes, reliable schedules, and great service. Delta will also be launching a nonstop LAX–HKG flight in June 2026, just in time for the wedding. Our favorite hack: you can transfer points from AmEx, Citi, Capital One, Bilt, or Marriott Bonvoy to Cathay Asia Miles. As a rough guide, ~54,000 points can cover round‑trip economy from LAX (~76,000 from the East Coast), and ~100,000 points can cover round‑trip premium economy from LAX. This is an amazing value as round-trip economy prices usually exceed $1,000. We generally recommend taking the red eye. Due to the time difference, you will arrive two days later in the morning, which makes adjusting much easier. So if you fly out Friday night, you will get to Hong Kong Sunday morning. Try to book at least three to four months in advance, especially if using points. Lastly, make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
Hotel
The reception is at the Four Seasons in Central (中環) (which was just awarded one Michelin Key!) where we have arranged a special rate of ~$425 USD/night before taxes. This discounted rate is available for a limited number of rooms between October 6- 11, 2026. To book, please email sisi.chan@fourseasons.com and mention you’re with the Jojo & Brian wedding. If you would like to stay at the Four Seasons but the special rate is no longer available, please let us know and we will do our best to assist. For more budget-friendly alternatives, consider The Pottinger, Ovolo Central or Hotel Madera Hollywood, all listed below. Please note there are no room blocks reserved at these hotels, so booking early is recommended. We recommend staying in Central, Admiralty or Causeway Bay if you choose accommodations other than those listed here. We recommend staying at a hotel rather than an Airbnb. Please also note that real estate space is at a premium, so accommodations tend to be more compact than what you may be used to!

Train
Getting around Hong Kong is incredibly easy and convenient. The MTR (subway) is the fastest and most efficient way to travel, it’s very clean, reliable, and connects almost every part of the city, including the airport. When you land at Hong Kong International Airport, we recommend taking the Airport Express. It will take you directly to Hong Kong Station (Central) in about 25 minutes. From there, if you are staying at the Four Seasons, it’s a short, covered walk via IFC Mall. No reservations needed. The hotel may also offer shuttle service, please contact concierge for details. Taxis are also a great option (they only take cash): they’re inexpensive and easy to spot—just look for the iconic red cars with a “TAXI” sign on top. Uber is also available, typically at a slight premium. If you’d rather not think too much about logistics, hopping in a taxi is the easiest option, just remember to have cash on hand!
